Our Story

Amherst Concrete was founded in 2025 by a crew that grew up in western Massachusetts and decided to stop working for other companies and start doing things the right way on their own. The Pioneer Valley is home, and that matters in how we work. We know the soils out here, we know what Amherst winters do to a concrete slab poured without the right base preparation, and we know what it means to a homeowner when a contractor actually shows up when they said they would.

A large share of Amherst homes were built before 1960, and many of them still have their original driveways, walkways, and foundations. We have worked on those properties - the farmhouses in North Amherst, the Cape Cods near campus, the older colonials close to the Town Common - and we understand what each one needs. This is not a company that moved here from somewhere else. We live here, we work here, and we are accountable to this community.

Our work spans driveways, patios, sidewalks, foundations, retaining walls, and more across Amherst and the surrounding towns.
